Jennifer McGowan’s Creative Dance Center is dedicated to providing quality dance education for children of all ages with the belief that dance is for everyone and everyone can dance.
The school’s philosophy is unique. The emphasis is on teaching dance as an expressive art and is enhanced through related dance activities, yoga, music appreciation, drama, the visual arts, and dance history.
Here, students learn dance from the inside out. Whether they wish to someday become professional dancers or they dance for the pure joy of it, the students develop a personal relationship with dance which they can take with them throughout their lives. With a strong knowledge and understanding of dance technique and the freedom of self-expression students not only become better dancers and appreciators of the arts; they also become confident and creative people.
